A Big Anniversary on The Avenue of Glendora Village

Carol Gill has come a long way from doing cut lace work and selling hand-sewn garments at craft fairs.

Twenty years ago she took that experience along with her career in fashion merchandising and opened Undercovers Intimate Apparel in Glendora Village.

Carol Gill is celebrating the 20th anniversary of
Undercovers Intimate Apparel in October.
Back in 1994, Gill kept hearing women’s complaints that they couldn’t find the right lingerie products or helpful service.

“In this market, you’re either just selling bras or you’re ‘le sex shoppe’ with lingerie offerings,” Gill observed. “Undercovers has become a ‘comfort store,’ because my customers are looking for more than just underwear.”

Now she’s planning festivities to celebrate the store’s 20th anniversary:

20/20 drawing – She’ll  be giving away a $20 gift certificate each day for 20 days beginning Thursday, Oct. 3 through Oct. 22. Registration for the drawings begins tomorrow, Oct. 1; stop by each day and enter, no purchase necessary.
