Twenty years ago she took that experience along with her career in fashion merchandising and opened Undercovers Intimate Apparel in Glendora Village.

“In this market, you’re either just selling bras or you’re ‘le sex shoppe’ with lingerie offerings,” Gill observed. “Undercovers has become a ‘comfort store,’ because my customers are looking for more than just underwear.”
Now she’s planning festivities to celebrate the store’s 20th anniversary:
20/20 drawing – She’ll be giving away a $20 gift certificate each day for 20 days beginning Thursday, Oct. 3 through Oct. 22. Registration for the drawings begins tomorrow, Oct. 1; stop by each day and enter, no purchase necessary.
Oct. 12, 8:30-10 a.m. – Silhouette Breakfast: Discover how to flatter your figure with line and design. Learn your personal body balance and tricks to create wardrobe illusions. Space is limited, so call (626) 963-7868 for reservations now.
Oct. 17 – Ribbon Cutting in the morning and Anniversary Celebration during Third Thursday festivities in Glendora Village, 5-8 p.m. 20% off purchases that day.
Oct. 23-30 – Play Ball for Prizes
Oct. 27, 3:30-5 p.m. – Scarf It Up Breakfast – Tips on how to creatively use scarves this season.
Costume Character Tea (to be scheduled)– Take simple items and get creative this Halloween
Pajama Party (to be scheduled) – Sneak away for a bit of fun and games
Undercovers' products range from 32A-40DDD, 38G and small-3X. Customer information is kept so no one need remember brand, style or size when making a return visit. A conscious effort is made to support California companies, made-in-the-USA products, to actively recycle with bags and products and be environmentally conscious.
