Holiday Workshops Offer Gift of Learning Along the Avenue

The holidays bring a whole new type of workshops to the Avenue of Glendora Village, as well as opportunities to give the gift of learning in the form of gift certificates.

            Check out these fun holiday classes:
            Glendora Florist: Tuesday, Dec. 3, 6:30-8:30 p.m., $75 – Cyndy Tessitor presents Christmas Floral Arrangements demonstration. Attendees will learn how to design holiday arrangements to take home. Reserve at (626) 335-1943. Appetizers and fruit, wine, refreshments will be served.  
            Keener Music Studio: Students of the Keener Music Studio have been busy with local holiday performances and will be performing at the Village Holiday Stroll and at the visits/photos with Santa on Dec. 14 between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. in the Village Plaza.             KidsArt Fine Art Classes:  The Thanksgiving Workshop, Nov. 25-27, 9 a.m.-noon, will have students creating beautiful Thanksgiving holiday keepsakes.  “Snoopy's Gang Clay Workshop” Mondays, Dec. 2-16, 3:30-6 p.m. will teach young artist to create their own Peanuts characters in clay as beautiful gifts or keepsakes.             SING INC: The singing studio’s Funtastic Fall Mini-Camp will focus on “Sounds of the Season, Musical Hits” Nov. 19-22, 12:45-3:30 p.m., $99. Mini camps introduce kids to singing and performance lessons, build their confidence and stage presence and make new friends. There are one-on-one singing lessons and entertaining performance classes. “Campers” attending the SING INC fall mini-camp will be performing what they learned from camp at the Annual Glendora Village Holiday Stroll and Tree Lighting on Friday, Nov. 22.
