Costumed kids and their parents take over Glendora Village for the annual Halloween Trick or Treat |
It’s All About the Candy!
Little
ghosties, superheroes, princesses, ghoulies, zombies and other fantasy characters will take over
The Avenue of Glendora Village during the annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat on
Thursday, Oct, 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Pre-school
and elementary school students are invited to start Halloween early in their
best costumes to visit Village merchants and business owners who will be
handing out candy. Some business owners join the fun by wearing costumes, too.
The
Village Plaza at the center of The Avenue will be completely decorated for
Halloween to provide backdrops for family photos.
Also, the City of Glendora
will take free photos of trick-or-treaters that will be posted on the City’s website.
Festively decorated storefronts also make the Village a prime location for parents to take photos of their costumed kids.

Staff
members at Glendora City Hall and Community Services will also be handing out
treats.
All the
free fun is sponsored each year by the Glendora Village Business Improvement
District.
Families
from Glendora and surrounding communities make The Avenue their first stop for
trick-or-treat fun each year. An estimated 2,000 filled their goodie bags in
2012.
It's Back! Thursday, Oct. 17!
