With storm clouds
overhead this weekend, how about a dose of Sunny Days in Glendora Village?
The clothing and accessories boutique
guarantees retail sunshine when you need it.
Owner Deanna Frieze opened Sunny Days in
the Village about two years, adding to six other stores she has in Claremont,
Orange, San Clemente, Balboa Island and Laguna Beach.
Frieze says she loves “charming older
downtowns” just like Glendora Village.
“Glendora is a small tucked away town
while my other locations are in tourist towns. The customer in Glendora lives
down the street while our other locations your customer is ever changing. We
loved the small town connection we felt in Glendora,” she said.
Decorated with vintage furnishings to
make the store “just like home,” Frieze offers a wide selection of clothing and
accessory lines, including TOMS, Frye Boots, and Fitflop shoe brands, and
clothing from Allen Allen, Fresh Produce, CP Shades, Not Your Daughter’s Jeans,
among several others.
She just added Alex and Ani jewelry. “The
bangles are a ‘must’ item for all age groups,” she said. “When choosing lines
we try to find clothing that fits our laid-back California lifestyle. Our gal
wants to be comfy yet still stylish and cute.”
Sunny Days’ Glendora team includes Patti,
Kathy, Macy and Diane. Success “is all about the people you surround yourself
with. I am fortunate enough to have a great team that allows me to run seven
stores,” Deanna said.
“Our goal is for customers to walk
away feeling confident and happy. Our job is to build a lasting relationship
with our customers and to make them feel at home while finding their wardrobe ‘must
haves,’” she added.
