Fourteen
Glendora Village merchants will come together next Thursday, June 24, 6-9 p.m.,
to host the second Glendora Girl’s Night Out open house.
This month’s open house will be hosted by Stephanie Simpson, owner of Simpson’s Portraits.
This is a
fun and FREE event and is a great way to spend a Thursday night. Guests will enjoy tasty food, coffee, fashion and entertainment. There will be drawings for great prizes from
all participating merchants, who will also be offering discounts.
The first
was created by Annette Nemeth and hosted at her Glendora Interiors in June, was such a success that Thursday’s event is a must. More than 100
women attended, and Thursday’s gathering is expected to be even bigger.
“The event
is for local women to learn about the businesses in their back yards,”
Stephanie said. The local business owners joined up to share contacts, build
awareness and attract customers.
“We realized that even we did not know very much about our neighboring businesses,”
Simpson said.
"Our
customers love to find that little gem of a business, that custom-made item,
and many of the businesses in Glendora Village offer just that. Glendora Girl's
Night is a wonderful way to discover that merchant or service they didn't even
realize was in their back yard. It's
also a great way for businesses to work together and truly become a
village," Stephanie said.
