Bet you didn't know . . .

            . . . what's been happening along The Avenue . . .
. . .Fiorina owner Nikki Vitale is “hitting the restart button” for the fashion boutique as it approaches its 10th anniversary in December.

Fiorina is heading south a couple blocks to 124 N. Glendora Ave., to open a larger location that fits her goals of offering more to customers, “and we just need more room for that,” she explained.
The grand opening is scheduled for the fall, well-timed for holiday shopping for Fiorina’s fans and for new customers to discover its offerings.
A big-screen TV, refreshments and snacks have made Fiorina a welcome spot for men shopping with wives, daughters or girlfriends, and that will continue in the boutique’s
new location.
Keep watching Fiorina’s website for more details about the move.
. . .Got some paperwork that needs shredding? Visiting Angels will help out with their third annual Shredding Day on Friday, Sept. 6, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in its parking lot at 131 E. Foothill Blvd., Glendora.
Shredding is on a first-come, first-serve basis (with seniors receiving priority) and the last shredding will be taken at 10 a.m.
The shredder accepts staples and folders, but not binders or boxes. Shredding is limited to four boxes per person, and empty box disposal will not be available.
Light refreshments will be served, too. For more information, call (626) 852-3302.

. . . Glendora Interiors is having a Designer Floor Sample Sale. Prices start as low as $10 for table top accessories, wall decor and furniture.

While you're at the showroom, check out HGTV's Shaw Epic Hardwood Flooring. It's not only environmentally "green" but it's six times stronger than competitors. Order a sample and receive a $100 coupon toward your Shaw Flooring purchase.

For more information, call (626) 335-7229.

. . . SINC INC wants everyone to sing, not just children and teens. So many adults have dropped by the studio about getting lessons, too, so now they can enroll in SINC INC Silver.
The program will offer enhancement classes and private lessons to active seniors 55+ taught by singing coach Peter Carter , who has extensive performance experience with Debbie Reynolds, Donald O'Connor, Robert Goulet and others.
